EarthSong: Raising Consciousness through the
Healing Vibrations of Music!
Come and join other Earthlovers for a musical event on Earth
Day, April 22nd at the Whetstone Park of Roses Shelterhouse
from 4:45-11 PM.
All proceeds will go to Highlands Nature Sanctuary, and
EarthTouch, two local groups preserving our precious Ohio
lands. We appreciate their efforts, and they and others doing
great works here, will be in house to share a little of their stories.
Doors open at 4:45. At 5:30 we will open with our local Women's
Drum Corp to set the intention. Joanie Calem will follow with a
special set for children, a sing along of Earthsongs.... next, The
Dwyer Family Band from New York, plays old style bluegrass,
and will get the juices flowing. Jack Dwyer is a very talented 15
year old playing with some giants in New York on the mandolin,
and his 13 year old sister Sara plays fiddle. Mom and Dad,
(Mindy and Bill), learned to play to support the great talent their
kids are showing, and 8 year old Shaun is already collecting
instruments, and may play a tune or two with the family. Bring
your kids to be inspired by this story! An open mic will follow this
with local artists. Followed by Clintonville's own Eileen Motok
and INTUIT and their inspiring lyrics and sound.
Tickets will be sold in advance only, $13 adult, $5 for children
under 18. Contact Linda Hobson 638-3150, Robert Lockheed
402-6082 or Judy Fasone 261-8194 for tickets after March 5th.

Niches Retreat
- The preparations are well underway for our
2005 Season. Our board and team have been busy planning and
preparing for an amazing year ahead. We are full of promise, hope
and renewed energy and are delighted to share this feeling with
you.
Spring is just ahead of us and we are now accepting reservations
for weekends from March 4 through November. This year we are
also offering a fine selection of inspired workshops to educate
and provide personal well being opportunities for our guests.
Time seems to be moving faster than ever and for many of us our
own well being may be put aside. It is important to schedule time
to take care of yourself.
There are many opportunities to get involved and many ways for
everyone to learn, grow and support one another. I look forward to
seeing you at Niches this year!
